Library Lessons for Little Ones
"Versatile, dynamic lessons are the foundation of quality literature-based instruction. Given the limited attention span of four and five-year-olds, it is exceptionally important to provide lessons that are developmentally appropriate through the use of a literacy show format that incorporates activities, books, puppetry, songs, and website explorations. Curriculum connections are embedded throughout each lesson and provide ease of implementation in the public or school library and instructional classroom. Each unit has a Story Lesson and an Enrichment Activity to complement the instructional objectives. This format offers the flexibility to address the various learning styles of your students."
